Guided by Your Memories
Your day is full of moments worth reflecting on. With this update, Halo helps carry them into your reflections.

We're excited to introduce Memories, a new way to bring moments from your day back into focus directly in your entries.

A memory can be places you've visited, workouts you've completed, music you've listened to, and so much more. Instead of keeping those moments separate, they can now become part of what you write.

Find Them When You Need Them

You'll find Memories in the Discover tab under its own section, where your recent moments are gathered in one place. From here, you can choose anything that stands out and start writing from it.

If you're already in the middle of an entry, you can also add a memory by tapping the + button, then heading into Suggestions and selecting Recent Activities.

Whether you start from Discover or add as you go, it's a simple way to turn your day into something you can reflect on.

Add More Context to What You Write

Memories add an extra layer to your entries. They help ground your thoughts in something real, making it easier to remember what was happening around you at the time.

A walk, a conversation, a song, or a picture can carry a lot of meaning when they're connected to your reflections.

If you’d like an extra nudge to journal, you can enable more personal suggestions and reminders for Halo through your settings. Simply head to your device settings → Apps → Halo → Siri and toggle on all options. This allows relevant moments and prompts to surface.

When You Need a Starting Point

Some days, getting started feels harder than others. Memories give you something to react to instead of something to come up with.

You can follow them, ignore them, or let them lead you somewhere unexpected. They're there when you need them and out of the way when you don't.

Update to the latest version of Halo on the App Store and try out memories. Let us know what you think @HaloJournal.
